Doubt

Doubt

When we’re wrestling with doubt and unbelief, there’s no use pretending that we’re not. Besides the fact that the Lord sees through every façade, we’re only hurting ourselves when we’re not honest about our struggles of faith. The enemy loves to tempt us to doubt, and once we’ve succumbed to the temptation, he throws guilt and shame on top of us. But Jesus pulls us close and whispers a word that breathes life into our soul: “Believe.”

When the impurities of doubt rise to the surface, don’t ignore them. Letting doubts fester without laying them at the feet of Jesus leads to trouble. Be honest with the Lord and ask him to help you make him real to you again and protect you from the onslaught of the enemy. Then do your part. Feed your spirit by spending time in the Word, listening to anointed teaching, and spending time listening to the One who never condemns you in your weakness.

Mark 9:23

“If you are able to believe, all things are possible to the believer.”
